Tina Wheeler is the visionary and driving force behind The Accion Group Enterprises. Ms. Wheeler has a corporate background as a brilliant Financial Analyst and Software Engineer, as well as a stalwart supporter of social causes. In 1991, Wheeler began providing capacity building technical assistance to local nonprofits and churches while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she would later earn her degree. Today, with a 90% funding success rate and the ability to bridge the gap between funding agencies and clients has earned her the title "America's Top Non-profit Funding Guru". Ms. Wheeler and her growing non-profit specialist team at The Accion Group (TAG), are keenly merging corporate acumen with social commitment to perform miracles in the grant-funding world.
Over the last decade Tina and her Non-profit Specialist Team has brought in over $600 million dollars to faith-based organizations, non-profit corporations, foundations, hospitals, community development corporations and businesses both nationally and internationally.
